Elegant and Contemporary Entrance

The owners of this modern home desired a cutting-edge, contemporary entrance that featured vertical elements to help beautify their outdoor space, while incorporating splashes of color.

Unilock Lineo Dimensional Stone in Granite was chosen to construct the pillar and layered garden walls, with a darker banding of Unilock Series in Black Granite on the top layer of each vertical element, inspiring a visual contrast to the monochromatic tones of the walkway.

Series pavers are repeated on the main paver floor as an accent border on each level of the walkway, creating uniquely angled borders that create cohesion with the rest of the space. Series pavers are regarded as the ideal accent paver because they have a polished surface texture that is protected from surface wear for years after the project is finished, ensuring that the look you choose will last, rain or shine. To complement the darker accent lines, Unilock Artline pavers are laid in a combination of mottled and brushed textures, creating a sharp, contemporary design that is far from one-dimensional. Ledgestone pavers are also used as coping on both the entrance pillar and layered garden walls, with a rugged surface that is highly durable and can double as a low seat wall for reading, or for planting your front garden. Large potted plants adorn each level of the walkway, and a patio lantern sits atop the pillar to help illuminate the setting at night.
