The owners of this home wanted to accommodate their front entrance with a variety of interlocking paving solutions.

Unilock Umbriano in Summer Wheat was used to create the main paver field throughout the walkway, laid in a diagonal pattern. The granite-like surface of Umbriano provides a casual, contemporary feel to the entire project. As an EnduraColor product, Umbriano pavers have a fade-resistant surface texture that will stand the test of time, all year round. As an added bonus, EasyClean technology coats the surface of these pavers with a protective sealant that enhances the overall surface color while guarding against seasonal stains.

Delineating the edges of the front entrance from end to end is a double wide border of Unilock Copthorne in Burgundy Red. Copthorne is the perfect paver accent not only for its timeless beauty, but as an Elegance product, it comes packed with Reala technology for an authentic surface appearance, and is designed with Ultima concrete to be four times as strong as poured-in-place concrete. Jointing sand is applied between the pavers to help bind them in place and prevent shifting throughout the years. An additional Elegance product, a tri-color blend of Town Hall, was used to create the unique paver rug at the base of the far entrance, laid in a herringbone pattern to create a distinct, glamorous flooring that is a beautiful contrast to the interlocking Umbriano pattern.

Adjacent to the paver rug is a low seat wall and two adjoining pillars constructed using Unilock Brussels Dimensional Stone in Limestone, with an accent band that matches that border accent of the walkway. Brussels Dimensional Stone was used to build several planter beds located across the front walkway, providing wonderful splashes of color to the otherwise muted tones of the home’s architecture. The end result is a gorgeous blend of pavers to create a jaw-dropping interlocking front entrance that’ll surely boost this home’s overall curb appeal.
