When considering your fire pit design, think about whether you prefer a raised or sunken style, and whether a round or square shape would best suit your space. Additionally, explore different types of pavers and colors to customize your fire feature to fit seamlessly into your outdoor area.

• Inspect for potential damage: Inspect your stone fire pit for any cracks, loose stones, or signs of wear and tear before each use. Promptly repair or replace damaged stones with heat-appropriate adhesives or mortars to ensure the structural integrity of the fire pit. 
• Clear vegetation: Keep the area around the fire pit clear of any flammable materials, such as dry grass, leaves, or overhanging branches to reduce the risk of accidental fires. 
• Use the right fuel: Avoid using soft wood, such as pine or cedar, as they can pop and throw sparks. Instead, use seasoned hardwood in your fire pit, such as oak and maple. In addition, avoid using wood that has been treated or painted, as it can release harmful fumes when burned.
