It’s not every day you come across a backyard pool and patio project that has a little bit of everything all in one beautiful package. This curvy patio sets the stage for hours of summer fun in the sun.
A luscious walkway meanders through lush gardens towards a standalone grill island facing lounging and dining areas. The casual look of Unilock Beacon Hill Flagstone was a perfect choice for this project, laying the foundation that is carried through the backyard patio toward the pool and beyond. Following Beacon Hill Flagstone is a rich color of Unilock Copthorne in Basalt that borders around the entire length of the patio floor, inset by a single row of Brussels Block in Sandstone to help define the edges of the project, with planting beds cut in to help soften the look. Adjacent to the lounging and dining spaces is a grand pavilion where an outdoor TV wall, couch and armchair create a cozy entertainment space for late night movie watching.
Continuing along the patio, we are met with an expansive backyard pool, surrounded by lounge chairs and umbrellas, with a Jacuzzi located adjacent to the home. The backyard pool’s stunning water feature is built into a rock wall that is decorated by a colorful shrub bed. A low patio wall lined in a semi-circle wraps around a fire pit that is encompassed by backyard lawn chairs, perfect for social gatherings over roasted marshmallows. A shed and outdoor shower can be found at the end of the patio, which though not pictured, actually overlooks where homeowners can play a quick round of 9-hole golf or practice their putt game. Landscape lighting can be found all across the backyard patio, with patio lighting inside along the walkway, dining area, fire pit, and grill island to name a few. Lighting is the perfect addition to any outdoor space for beauty and safety.
