The owners of this outdoor living canvas opted to take advantage of their backyard space by incorporating a raised patio area.
Unilock Brussels Dimensional Stone in Sierra was used to build the raised patio and steps, and pillars were incorporated into the design for both aesthetic and utilitarian lighting purposes. The Sierra tone was chosen for its subdued red tones as the ideal match. The façade of the house was finished with Unilock Ledgestone coping and pillar caps in Buff. The family may enjoy meals together on the raised patio, which also has a dining space.
Inset bands of Unilock Series in Black Granite were incorporated into the raised patio walls and pillars, creating a sharp contrast to the grey and red hues. Series is also repeated as a border paver along the upper and lower patio floors. Typically considered a popular commercial streetscape paver, Series features natural granite and quartz aggregates that showcase speckles of color that sparkle under the hot sun. Being an EnduraColor product, Series is put through a special manufacturing process to ensure its surface is protected from the appearance of color fade over time.
