The owners of this cottage-style home wanted to incorporate a uniquely shaped fire pit design that would act as the centerpiece of their Unilock Beacon Hill Flagstone patio.
Overlooking a beautiful view of the lake, the backyard space these homeowners were working with is quite small. They opted to keep it simple, with Unilock Beacon Hill Flagstone in Sierra laid as the main paver bed throughout the space and on the upper deck leading into the home. Beacon Hill Flagstone has a distinctive surface texture and blended appearance that pairs well with most pavement projects, presenting a soothing appearance that feels nice to walk on in bare feet
Unilock Brussels Dimensional Stone in Sierra is used to build the fire pit centerpiece and low seat walls, matching color tones with the flagstone patio while conveying a distinctively antiqued appearance that adds a timeless warmth to the overall design. Unilock Ledgestone in Buff is used as coping on the low seat walls, which are adorned with comfy outdoor pillows to create a cozy nook for curling up next to the fire on a cool summer night. For a stunning display, the fire pit’s Ledgestone coping is shaped into a pointed edge, intentionally pointing directly at the lake, to draw the eye there.
