Multi-Purpose Stone Outdoor Kitchen

The owners of this suburban property wanted to utilize their relatively small backyard to create a multi-purpose outdoor space that would be an extension of their home. To accommodate the monochromatic colors of the home, an L-shaped stone outdoor kitchen was installed, with a barbeque, smoker, pizza oven and storage cabinets. A chef’s dream!

Custom designed using Unilock Lineo Dimensional Stone in Granite Blend with a darker double accent band of Unilock Mattoni in Dark Charcoal, the multi-purpose outdoor kitchen complements the architecture of the home without compromising style or function. Granite countertops adorn the L-shaped outdoor kitchen area, creating several different areas for eating and serving meals to family and friends.

Three different sizes of Unilock Beacon Hill Smooth in Granite Fusion were chosen for the paver bed, and were placed in a non-linear arrangement to soften the look and visually ground the space. Unilock Mattoni pavers in Dark Charcoal are laid in a double border running bond pattern around the perimeter of the outdoor patio, keeping with the cohesive color pattern throughout the space. A chic, square fire pit was constructed again using Lineo Dimensional Stone in Granite Blend, and flanked by a cozy, L-shaped outdoor couch for sitting, day or night. Decorative seasonal planters adorn the outdoor space, adding a touch of vibrant color to the muted tones of the patio.
