Electronic waste and electrical equipment, also known as e-waste, is harmful to the environment. E-waste refers to electronic or electrical equipment, such as computers, cellphones, televisions, handheld appliances, chargers, cables, calculators, and other equipment. Recycling keeps those devices out of landfills, and some components can be salvaged and reused in different applications. Tube televisions and alkaline (non-lithium) batteries are not eligible for this program. Each family may recycle up to two (2) non-tube televisions.
