Unilock provides a Transferable Lifetime Guarantee on the structural integrity of our paving stones and retaining wall units. Any materials that have been installed and maintained to our guidelines, that prove defective, will be replaced without cost. Be sure to register your warranty within 60 days of completing your installation for the warranty to take effect.
I noticed my landscape stone installation has a white stain. What is this and how can I remove it?
The white, powdery deposit you might notice on your pavers could be efflorescence, a common occurrence due to a chemical reaction between cement and water on porous surfaces like concrete, brick, or stone. Usually, efflorescence diminishes over time or with seasonal rainfall. If you prefer a proactive approach, you can clean it yourself using a specialized efflorescence remover. This product is designed to dissolve efflorescence and eliminate dirt from paving stones and concrete surfaces without causing discoloration or damage.
Any tips for power washing my pavers?
Avoid using the pressure washer on high power during rinsing, as this could potentially damage the surface. Maintain a safe distance by keeping the nozzle at a 30° angle and positioned 12” away from the surface. It's advisable to use the fanned nozzle setting for a more controlled and gentle cleaning process.
