Midwest Landscape Specialists Inc. of St John, IN, uses 3D Renderings for Front Entrance and Walkway Design
In order to give the clients peace of mind and simplify their decision-making processes, Midwest Landscape Specialists of St John, IN, rendered a 3D model of their envisioned front entrance and walkway. Although the homeowners had originally planned to use a different paver, they fell in love with these Richcliff pavers in a blend of Pebble Taupe and Dawn Mist.
Basalt Courtstone pavers form a bold double border that clearly defines the edges of the paved surface. The small format of these Courtstone pavers allows them to yield to the curves in the walkway and form a snug outline.
The 3D model depicts a low wall constructed using Olde Quarry wall units in the Sandstone shade. Series 3000 pavers in Onyx were suggested to create banding that echoes the Courtstone borders. Buff Ledgestone Coping and Pillar Caps were selected to finish off the low wall, offering pitched edges that add texture to the hardscape design and work interchangeably with virtually any wall.
The finished product showcases how well the Sandstone Olde Quarry wall units complement the siding of the home. Not only is the chosen shade a perfect match to that of the brick siding, but the texture of these wall units also serve to complement the aesthetic of the home. The tall, rounded windows and black steel lanterns with which the home is adorned give it a traditional, and romantic, look and feel. Olde Quarry wall units have an antiqued finish that enhances the aesthetic theme of the home, allowing it to appear better anchored to the landscape.
Although these homeowners were initially thrilled by the appearance of Unilock Richcliff pavers, they were utterly convinced once they learned more about their intrinsic qualities. Richcliff pavers are manufactured using cutting-edge EnduraColor Facemix Technology from Unilock, which ensures highly pigmented pavers that are thoroughly protected from fading and mechanical stress. Care must be taken to use a protection device when compacting Richcliff pavers to ensure that their protective surface is not grazed by impact equipment.
