Badgerland Lawn & Landscaping, Inc. match Driveway to Architecture with Courtstone in Menomonee Falls, WI
This pleasant suburban driveway was undertaken by Badgerland Lawn & Landscaping, Inc. in Menomonee Falls, WI. The look and feel of this driveway was echoed in the design of the backyard, years later, to ensure a seamless visual flow that extends throughout the property.
Characterful Courtstone pavers were selected for this enduring paved surface. While the Basalt color option comprises most of the driveway, strips of the Pebble Taupe color option act as accents. The addition of Pebble Taupe pavers not only brightens the driveway, but also ensures that the main color of the home’s architecture is echoed by the front entrance.
Courtstone pavers were selected for this project because the homeowners appreciated their cobblestone-like appearance and the two shades chosen complement the home perfectly. However, this product is an excellent candidate for any driveway, due to its small format, timeless appearance and impressive durability.
These small pavers can be installed in linear patterns, like this running bond formation, and more complex interlocks. An army of small, interlocking pavers creates a flexible surface that yields to the natural expansion and contraction of the earth.
These pavers are incredibly durable and are unlikely to crack or break, as they are reinforced by Unilock Ultima Concrete Technology.
Contractors sometimes choose to apply sealers to paved driveway upon completion, protecting it from wear and tear – both natural and vehicular. If done, it is recommended that the sealer be touched up every two years. While sealer can be applied to a Courtstone driveway, it is not necessary and one should bear in mind that the sealer can, in fact, lessen the paver’s slip-resistance.
